Many KTAP students were given refurbished computers through collaborations with Computer Essentials, the Cincinnati Computer Cooperative and NKU's IT department.

Employment Opportunities are available on campus to help meet the work guidelines.

Case management services: Assisting the KTAP student in coordinating with his/her KTAP Case Manager, University staff, and/or other professionals involved with the student and/or his/her family. Examples include:
  • Work study supervisors
  • Professors
  • Academic advisers
  • Mental health therapists, etc.
Students can also be referred to other services within the community.

The case manager from DCBS office is on-site with the program once a month. Contact the KTAP Coordinator for a schedule of dates/times.

Other help that is available through KTAP:
  • Support groups are available to connect you to other KTAP students.
  • Access to a confidential fax machine is also available for participants to fax paperwork to their DCBS office.
  • Holiday Help in December.
KTAP program is funded by a grant from the Cabinet for Health & Family Services.
